Guests can fly into Denver International Airport (DEN), rent a car and take the 3-4 hour drive to Steamboat, or connect through Denver to the local airport, Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN), which is a 30 minute drive to Steamboat Springs.
Either airport is a good option. HDN is a small airport served primarily by United and Southwest.
There is a direct Houston (IAH) to Steamboat (HDN) or a Dallas (DFW) to Denver (DEN) to Steamboat (HDN) with United Airlines.
If you want a car for the weekend you can fly into either airport and rent a car. Although once in Steamboat you don't necessarily need a car. There is an extensive free bus system as well as hotel shuttles, uber, lyft and private cars for hire.
If you'd like to book a shuttle from either airport to lodging options the links below offer airport transfers and/or in town rides.
